Here we have the waistcoat/corset that I'm experimenting with. I didn't make it tight, it's simply form-fitting, so that I can get my drink on without feeling sick. This is from a pattern, which I think I will alter before making it again. It sits just above the bustline, and then a bit above the hips. I'm going to re-draft it to make it longer over the hips. Might make the next one with a top instead of just overbust. Anyway, it isn't finished, it needs to be trimmed still. Going to add some lace at the top and bottom.
Here's the mini top hats - I've gotten further on the cream silk (the first one) since taking these shots. The striped toile is for me, the silk for K. I need to get some trims for the hats. Mine is going to have peacock feathers, and I think I have some white and brown feathers somewhere for K's.
And that's it for now... Going to work on the spats, and the bustle for the skirt. Need trim before I can start the jacket. Trim goes on sale starting Friday so I'm waiting for the 50% off.
